What is eScrip?

eScrip and partner merchants (physical stores and online) have a program whereby the merchant donates a percentage (anywhere from 2% up to 8%) of each and every purchase you make to your designated charity.  In this case the percentage (taken from the amount which you already paid, so it isn’t from your pocket) will be deposited in the Temple of the Goddess account.  It’s painless and automatic.  It’s good for the merchant–they have a loyal, returning customer, and it’s very good for Temple of the Goddess.  Once you sign up for it, the charitable donation is automatically allotted to Temple of the Goddess.  The more you use it, the more Love Offerings are generously given–from your hands to ours.

When you buy what you were going to buy anyway, Temple of the Goddess will receive monthly deposits as a result of your participation. 

How does the eScrip program work?

• Supporters register any or all of their existing grocery loyalty, debit, and credit cards for use in the program.

•  Participating national, regional and local merchants will make contributions to enrolled organizations, based on purchases made by supporters, who use their registered grocery loyalty, debit and credit cards. The eScrip program will continually contract new merchants.

• By using these registered cards at participating merchants, supporters generate donations based on a percentage of purchases as determined by each merchant or service provider.

• Every month the enrolled organizations receive all merchant contributions made on behalf of all participants. A summarized report listing merchants and accumulated contributions are available online.
